Senior Process Integration Engineer

Description

We are looking for a motivated Process and Product Integration Engineer to advice our company's unit process and equipment engineering team in our newly established factory. The Integration Engineer’s responsibilities include overseeing the entire power module assembly processes, assembly tool sourcing and the technical lead for all process related non-conformances and change management. It is key to form a strong bond with the unit process and the equipment engineers to successfully ramp-up the plant. The Process Engineer should implement the continuous improvement methodology paired with six-sigma principles.

To be successful as our Process Integration Engineer, you should define and be key stakeholder for the business intelligence data project, be able to support senior management with the development and implementation of the yield roadmap, investments, and new product developments. Ultimately, an outstanding Product Integration Engineer should have excellent communication skill also in English and form a team, be an analytical thinker, and demonstrate a good expert knowledge on manufacturing processes and equipment capabilities.

Tasks

  • Technical advisor and leader for process integration
  • Handle process related non-conformances in close cooperation with quality department
  • Technical advisor for change management in close cooperation with quality department
  • Initiate and drive Six-sigma projects
  • Planning and coordinating changes to machinery and equipment including production systems and methods of work
  • Identify new assembly process and manufacturing methods for our product developments
  • Ensure optimization and improvement of equipment and processes for long term robustness and reliability of our products
  • Oversee the conceptual analysis of new capital projects while implementing engineering standards and best practices in project design
  • Promote the teamwork with colleagues from all disciplines and work areas, focusing on lean and agile methodologies
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, always striving for state-of-the-art solutions and high level of work efficiency

Requirements

  • Broad experience with assembly related manufacturing processes and equipments
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical materials
  • Proficient skill level in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel and Project and MiniTab
  • Master of engineering is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Process Engineering
  • Six-sigma green belt (or affinity towards Six-sigma)
  • In depth knowledge in state-of-the-art power semiconductor module assembly processes targeted for automotive products
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • This position is located in Lenzburg (Switzerland) and requires willingness to travel 30%
